Country Music Legend, Kenny Rogers Dies At 81

The family of the legendary country musician Kenny Rogers has announced his death.

Kenny Rogers, whose career spanned six decades was said to have died of natural causes. “Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family”, a family member said in a statement.

Out of concern for the national COVID-19 emergency, the family was said to be planning a small service.

He was a three-time Grammy award winner and was known for his series of hit songs including; “Islands in the Stream”, “The Gambler”, and “Lucille”.
